Python
Python is an object-oriented language that’s moderately uncommon, but has gained popularity among open source programmers.
Advantages
- Python can be a potent tool in the hands of developers who are comfortable and familiar with it. Much of YouTube is written in Python, for example. WebINTENSIVE’s internal wiki is programmed in Python. And we, too, favor Python for programming many sites that make intensive use of video.
Disadvantages
- Python is used by many programmers and organizations, but it lacks the vast base of developers of more popular languages such as C++, Perl, and Java.
Choosing Python
Although Python is not widely supported, it can be a very effective choice for many projects.
