DATABASES
Accurate and Efficient
- Pull together data that's scattered in different places and formats
- Flush out bad data that's inaccurate, obsolete, or duplicated
- Use CPU and storage—your own or in the cloud—with maximum efficiency
Easy to Manage
- Rely on clear, easy to use, friendly interfaces
- Control permissions tightly so you can feel confident granting users access

CASE STUDY: WEB-BASED DATABASE ACCESS FOR MILLIONS OF USERS
THE CHALLENGE:
A client required a large-scale system to support Web-based access to a database for millions of users, worldwide.
WHAT WE DID:
WebINTENSIVE architected a large-scale, cloud-based solution, determining an architecture and a database framework appropriate to that particular project. We also configured distributed databases, enabling large volumes of storage and access, and with application frameworks for large-scale distributed computing.
THE RESULTS:
The solution is up, running, and supporting users.
CASE STUDY: FEDERATED SEARCH FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT
THE CHALLENGE:
The U.S. Small Business Administration needed to conduct searches across a wide range of differently configured databases maintained by various Federal agencies.
WHAT WE DID:
WebINTENSIVE created an application to perform federated searches across millions of records and normalized the data.
THE RESULTS:
The federated search software was used to find answers to user questions in a prototype expert system we developed for the SBA and several other Federal agencies.
CASE STUDY: CRUCIAL DATA MANAGEMENT FOR NETAPP
THE CHALLENGE:
NetApp, a multi-billion dollar data management firm, needed a management tool for its internal use.
WHAT WE DID:
We created a sophisticated, highly intuitive Web-based data management tool to help users find the data they want quickly and to increase compliance with keeping the database up to date. We custom-tailored the database and the data management tool to NetApp’s unique workflow.
THE RESULTS:
NetApp has in place a tool it needs to better manage a crucial aspect of its business.
CASE STUDY: 100,000’s OF COMPLEX, GRAPHICAL RECORDS
THE CHALLENGE:
In the highly competitive, multi-billion-dollar event planning market, MeetingForce needed to connect thousands of meeting planners with hundreds of thousands of facilities worldwide—fast.
WHAT WE DID:
Programming in C++, automatic generation of hundreds of thousands of static pages, database connection pooling, an intelligent database caching algorithm, and other techniques all ensured MeetingForce’s speed and reliability.
THE RESULTS:
Planners could rapidly sift through rates, special offers, floor plans, amenities, photos and much more, without the databases’ complex processing ever slowing them down.
